IOP Conferences

The aims of this conference is to inform those responsible for the preservation of digitally printed materials about developments in digital photography and printing technologies and progress in research on inks and substrates and their significance for conservation and preservation issues and techniques. We also hope to develop links between related industries and the conservation/preservation world.

The event is aimed at an international audience of photographers, conservators, preservation personnel, conservation scientists and the digital printing, ink and paper industries.

Research areas explored in this conference will include current developments and future trends in digital printing and photographic technologies; developments in substrates and inks, including textiles, plastics, papers for both fine art printings and digital photography; and standards for fastness, permanence and the role of scanning and file formats
